Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere, this German restaurant hits the nail in all the right places. The place is really simple to reach by transport and is a must visit if you like Schnitzel and sausages. The sausage platter is a must for all the würst fans, but if you are a fan of pork, beef or chicken, there are several Schnitzel varieties to select. Prices are moderate and the staff are really good and helpful. The typical house Bretzel and Black Forest cake are also a must try.

Das Bierhaus ist good! Booking was easy and straightforward, and we arrived to an excellent atmosphere with a German band and some great European vibes. It really felt like a little slice of Munich in Richmond. The food was spot on — tasty, hot bratwurst and a proper selection of European beers. The owner was fantastic, super friendly and accommodating, and clearly passionate about the place

Our family of 4 ate here for the first time tonight and enjoyed it very much! The food was delicious and service was great as well. Booth seats and colouring sheets were a hit for the kids. Will be back for more soon!

Amazing evening here, so glad to have a good brewhouse in the neighbourhood! The vibe was really fun also with the band, which invited some sing-alongs (yay to winning a round of schnapps !), and the local buddies we met as a result. The staff and our server this evening also super cool and attentive.food is great, beers are great, are portions were surprisingly huge top top it off. Be sure to shake the hand of the musician and have a chat before you leave, super nicel people.(Fyi .. the cinnamon apple was heaven as a side to the steak, greens, and potatoes, and I'll be getting the bratwurst my partner had next time!)

Come hungry and enjoy the generous portions. The warm bretzels, (delicious butter to dip it in) followed by feast platter (perfect crispy crackle and tender moist meat in the pork knuckle and roast pork belly) the creamiest mashed potato, chicken schnitzels, sides of mushroom sauce and pork jus, cheesy spatzle (should have ordered 2!) and vegetarian shupfnudeln between 6 of us. Great food, great portions and very reasonable prices. What more could you want? Finished off with warm spiced apple strudel and icecream. Will be back

First time at the tremendous Das Bierhaus and what a treat!! Firstly, I could recognise all my favourite German beers on tap and the service from the staff was impeccable!! Especially Deepak who showed us around the establishment after we expressed interest in the German Beer Hall design. An absolute gentleman who knew his German beer and food very well. The Brezel Schnitzel was delicious, congrats to the chef team. If you’re a lover of German beer and food I must admit this is an instant classic! Can’t wait to return!!
